About the event 6-Week Intro to Yoga Course : Perfect for Beginners. Week 1: Introduction to Yoga Overview of yoga philosophy and history Breathwork techniques Gentle meditation practice Foundational postures. Week 2: Standing Postures Introduction to standing postures Focus on Warrior poses Alignment and stability in standing poses Week 3: Core & Balance Understanding the importance of core strength in yoga & how it supports balance Core building postures Building endurance and balance Week 4: Heart and Hip Openers Exploring heart-opening postures Introduction to hip-opening techniques Benefits of heart and hip openers Week 5: Introduction to Sun Salutations Understanding the flow of Sun Salutations Breaking down each pose in the sequence Practicing the Sun Salutation flow Week 6: Gentle Flow Integrating learned postures into a gentle flow Emphasizing breath and movement connection Deepening our yoga practice. During this 6 week course you will develop a strong foundation for your yoga practice. You will be guided by Colleen- a highy experienced yoga teacher (7 years!) who will ensure you feel comfortable throughout. This course is perfec if you are new to yoga or want to deepen your practice. £50 for the course or £10 drop in.
